The Word of God is known as the Sword of the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 6:17). In the Shachah Sword Dance, every step of the Sword Sequences is executed to a rhythmic cadence of scripture. Spiritual warfare is the theme of this sword dance.

The Sword Dance starts with the worshiper holding a retractable sword in the right hand, and then at a specific word of the scripture, she extends her sword to it’s full length.

“For My sword shall be bathed in heaven. Indeed it shall come down on Edom, and on the people of My curse for judgment!”

Isaiah 34:5

The sword dance will challenge you to learn yet another form of dance unlike

all the other dances taught in the Shachah syllabi. I have adopted the very

basic form of Chinese sword dance stances and movements because dance

in itself is powerful! When the Word of God is ‘wielded’ together with the dance, there is a paradigm shift in the heavenlies!
